I have served as an assistant coach in the National, American, and Minors Divisions and have also spent 3 seasons as commissioner in the American and Minors Divisions.  I have worked with many of our coaches and other parent volunteers to organize the fall and spring seasons, and have also organized special events for the our league, such as Jackie Robinson Day for the American Division last Spring.
      I am very excited to be a part of a league where our children can not only build their skills and have fun, but also learn how to compete with dignity, to support their teammates, and to develop appropriate responses to achievements and setbacks.   
     As a board member, I would work to ensure that we keep the league a fun and safe learning experience for all the children who participate in it while at the same
time providing them with plenty of opportunities to develop as baseball and softball players.  I also think that, as an established little league, one of our goals should be to assist little leagues in other parts of our city develop an infrastructure so that the opportunity to participate in these sports is available to children throughout the city.
